Field Application Engineer - Mikrocontroller (m/f)
Pardus Consulting is working for a semiconductor company which designs and manufactures analog technologies, digital signal processing (DSP) and microcontroller (MCU) semiconductors. Our Client is a leader in semiconductor solutions for analog and digital embedded and applications processing.
Mission:
Providing design support to customers on Wireless Connectivity with a focus on ECS (Emerging Connectivity Solutions) technologies in Central Europe
Provide pre-sales technical support to customers:
- Is a technical advisor on ECS product portfolio
- Uses his expertise together with sales and marketing to convince our customers about products portfolio
- Develops and maintains technical relationships with the customer
- Identifies and understands opportunities/customers needs and provides appropriate technical solutions (through frequent customer visits and follow up) to maximize customer's success and product sales
- Takes part in the support strategy definition during development phases, from the feasibility concept to customer's production (jointly with Sales and other internal teams)
- Participates to the customer's system architecture definition
- Promotes and designs-IN solutions at customers
- Conducts workshops and technical training to customers
Ensure a post-sales follow-up to customers:
- Is accountable for the technical assistance to customers during the development phase and help them solve their problem to match production deadlines
Act as interface between Business Units and Field for market trends:
- Collects, formalizes and exchange with BU relevant information received from the markets and customers
- Reports competitive information to BU (offers, products and emerging markets...)
- Proposes and submits new solutions in terms of products, methods, peripherals, etc. In order to increase efficiency and differentiate on short, mid and long term.
- Reports information related to technical and technological trends gathered in the field
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Engineering degree
- >5 years R&D design and/or field application experience in wireless connectivity technology
- Broad technical culture in Electronics
- Sales experience and spirit
- Strong system expertise (both SW+HW) on wireless connectivity, OS (Linux, WinCE), protocols
- Analog electronics knowledge is a plus
- Driver development/customization, Linux
- Languages: German (Fluent) / English (Fluent)
