Quality Engineer Automotive - Electrical/Electronic/Metal Stamping (m/f)
As Commodity SQD (Supplier Quality Development) engineer you will be responsible to develop and follow up the suppliers in the Commodity Electrical/Electronic/Metal Stamping. You will report directly to the Commodity SQD Manager Europe.
Main responsibilities:
- Evaluation and validation of potential new suppliers according to Commodity strategies
- Improvement of the Supplier base by perforrning process and/or System audits. Follow up the corresponding action plans.
- Secure suppliers processes at suppliers site
- Responsibility and support in the supplier escalation process (QIP)
- Monitor the supplier performance of the supplier base to ensure achievement of quality goals
- Drive and support supplier development activities and workshops
- Close interactions with supplier to secure continuously improvement of their processes
- Extensive cross functional cooperation internal and external
- Work in an International environment
Main Qualifications:
- Ms. Engineer / Engineer
- At least five years experience in manufacturing industry and quality. Preferably in production/process engineering or quality engineering
- Preferably ISO/TS and VDA 6.3 1st and 2nd party auditor qualification
- Relevant quality tools and techniques (QAP, APQP, PPAP, root cause analysis, 8D, etc...)
- Training in measuring engineering, print and tolerance interpretation - Computer skills including MS Office, PLM, SAP
- High degree of personal integrity and confidence
- Good conflict management skills
- Facilitation skills with a high focus on solutions
- Have a good command of written and spoken English.
- Frequent travel is required
